I'll also be posting here during the journey itself, so please check back regularly to keep up to date. Your support really will make a massive difference to me, even if it’s just a few words it all makes a difference!

Right its well late, so very briefly.

Disaster to start, back wheel was also bust it turned out and had to buy a new front wheel, couldnt use the spare. Halfords had no spares and no mechanics. Went to Colsons cycles in Taunton, the staff there were brilliiant and sorted me out super quick and gave 10% discount! So didnt start until after midday.

Cycled to Glastonbury, then to Bath, then Cirencester.87 miles total, there was a bit more to it than that but they are the main places. It was very hot and sunny and a very enjoyable ride, the last ten miiles my energy ran out so had to dig deep.

Finished at 8ish , cant remember just now. Staying with Elizabeth and Ian, friends of the Patersons near Stratford. Their hospitality tonight has been fantastic and much appreciated. Elizabeth is taking over from Jim tomrrow, i will be starting in Cirencester and aiming for Ashbourne( if i get to within 20 miles of it then i will be happy) where i will meet my parents

Jim has done a brilliant job since Friday and i am sorry to see him go, it has been good fun. Cheers Jim, couldnt have done any of this without you.

Photos will be follow, i said that last night as well but its been a long day and i still havent washed yet. goodnight.
